Ed is a little tired but grateful. We just talked to Dr. Godwin, the leg catheter is coming out tonight. Tomorrow's blood values will determine if dialysis is needed. May not be necessary. Ed still has good urine output.

I arrived by plane Friday evening and drove straight to the hospital for a brief visit. Friederike and Kevin were just departing. Ed was lucid but complained of difficulty with spatial relationships. Dr Godwin returned and explained that the Vancomycin likely precipitated (crystallized) in the tubules in Ed's kidneys and that it just took time for those crystals to dissolve and for the tubules to regenerate. He was very optimistic.
